

Baseball Skills Challege
Gaston Rehab Associates and the Physical Performance Center sponsored the First Annual Baseball Skills Challenge on Friday June 24th at the Gastonia Grizzlies Annual Midnight Madness Game.
This challenge showcased the skills of 10 athletes age 7-13 years old. These athletes were all tested in 5 skills: 10 yd sprint, vertical jump, long ball toss, long hit challenge, and bat swing velocity.
1st place in the 7-9 year olds group was: Tanner Canterbury
2nd place in the 7-9 year olds group was: Zach Murrow
1st place in the 10-13 year olds group was: AJ Farmer
2nd place in the 10-13 year olds group was: Peanut Heafner
Congratulations to all of our participants. Nice work and keep training.
The winners received certificates, the opportunity to sit on the bench with Team USA before the game vs the Grizzlies on June 30th, 2011 and also free training sessions at the Physical Performance Center.
